Well, Louise and I had a very eventful 2012, some sad moments and some happy moments.
In September we hit for P.E.I. for the 15th Annual 70-Mile Coastal Yardsale! We flew into Charlotte Town Sept 21st, dropped our bags and hit the road for dinner at St. Mary's Church for lobster dinner and then some sight-seeing!
We drove out to Malpaque Bay which happens to be one of Louise's favorite spots, it was my first time there and what a beautiful bay!
Saturday, September 22nd turned out to be a very humid and rainy day BUT it did not "dampen" our spirits! We hit the road again. We had a wonderful day meeting the local folk and yardsaleing!
Lots of barns, lots of people!

Some of the goods offered up for sale.

70 Miles!
Some of the sights to be enjoyed throughout the Island of P.E.I.
"Great Canadian Soap Company"

"THE SEA"
"Lucy Maud Montgomery birthplace"
The author of "Anne of Green Gables"
A home at "Victoria by the Sea"
We stopped at a "Winery" and sampled a few of the Island wines.
A sampling of some of the many fishermans shacks.

We had a great time visiting the Island and a great time taking part in the yardsale!!

Little Red Wagon

One wheel off and the other three draggin'

How'dy Doo'dy from Thelma & Louise! This is just about the way we work.

Got a barn? We'll go through it. This blog is about the things we find, the things we do to them, and our love of junk. We're not hoarders - we will part with it ... for a price.
